BIG is looking for talented and self-motivated students of architecture who are eager to learn and develop their skills in our dynamic London studio.
BIG is a group of 750+ architects, urbanists, inventors, researchers and business minds from all over the world who are based in our Copenhagen, New York, London, Barcelona and Los Angeles offices. As a Design Assistant, you will experience a dynamic and inspiring environment in an international creative community. You will be expected to help with the production and development of design options, and the production of diagrams, drawings, and virtual and physical models. Our projects are mainly based in the UK and Middle Eastern markets.
We are looking for new Design Assistants to join us in Summer / Autumn 2025.
TO BE CONSIDERED, YOU MUST:
- Have at least 2 years of architecture school behind you.
- Have experience with Rhino and Adobe package and have knowledge and experience of at least 1 of the following: Enscape, Vray, Revit.
- Be able to take initiative in response to direction or instruction.
- Have great interpersonal communication skills.
- Be fluent in English.
- Be a current student / Part 1 designer. Graduates (Master's level) cannot be considered as Design Assistants.
- Be able to have your internship with BIG run for at least 6 months.

This is a full-time position based out of BIG’s London office. Working together and collaborating in the same space is integral to our culture, so all our staff are expected to work from the office every day.
