Our Copenhagen office is looking for an Accountant to join our Finance department. The role as Accountant includes timely and correct booking and handling of various transactions. The Accountant must also ensure that all balance sheet accounts are reconciled monthly and follow up on differences/missing reconciliations. The Accountant will be handling tasks mainly for our Barcelona and Copenhagen offices. Some assistance to our Accounting Department in London and New York must also be expected, primarily regarding IC, accounting instructions and various projects.
And since BIG is an energetic and ambitious workplace it requires a dynamic, confident, proactive and organized individual and team player to keep up with a fast-paced and changeable environment.
The team in Copenhagen consists of 7 people handling everything within the area of Finance from payroll and bookkeeping to expenses and tax.
The accountant is reporting to the CFO based in CPH.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Processing invoices in Rillion
- Bookkeeping in Navision
- DK VAT reporting
- Processing expense report in SAP Concur
- Process outgoing payments
- Manage and handle I/C reconciliation and transactions
- Monthly reporting, assisting the Finance Manager to finalize analysis and figures
- Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled monthly and follow up on reconciliation items.
- Assist at audits
- Supporting the Finance manager with various tasks
The Ideal candidate:
- Solid accounting and excel knowledge
- Relevant work experience in similar role, minimum 2 years
- Relevant financial education of 2 years is minimum
- Previous experience from an international organization is a plus
- Previous experience with Navision, SAP Concur or Rillion is a plus
- Responsible, self-driven and independent
- Handle simultaneous deadlines and tasks
- Must work systematic and structured
- Enjoys a busy and creative environment with many personalities
- Is comfortable with fast-paced decisions and rapidly changing environments
- Professional proficiency in Danish and English, spoken and written
